German automaker BMW unveiled their 2012 BMW 5-Series Active Hybrid last fall, recently the automaker announced the price, which starts from $61,845. 2012 BMW 5-Series Active Hybrid is powered by the 3.0 liter turbo charged six cylinder engine, combined to a electric motor with a Lithium ion battery delivers a combined out put of 354 horsepower through an eight speed automatic transmission. The combination of electric motor and 3.0 liter turbo charged power train makes the Active Hybrid to sprint 0-60 Mph in just 5.7 seconds and more fuel efficient.
